Wired Desk is a Website Production Line System to manage the content being put into your website. It is aimed at cutting costs of production by providing Editorial Tools for non-technical people to deliver the content from any where in the world through a web browser.
Wired Desk has an XML repository to store all the generated content. It dynamically generates the approved pages of your website ready for serving based on your templates that give the look and feel. It uses an LDAP server to protect the system from unauthorised access.

Subscribing to Wired Desk, The Website Content Management System
Wired Content provides an ASP solution that allows you to save on capital expenditure on Web Server computers and spending out on buying all the software to do content management. This simply means, as a Wired Desk user, you have the use of the Wired Desk Content Management system and all the Computer infrastructure involved to manage your website content. When you subscribe to our service, all you have to do is have a connection to the internet, a PC for each of your staff who will type in the web page content and then you can get started soon after the initial set-up of your space in the Wired Desk system.
There will be a setup fee to get things going. In the standard setup you get a default set of website templates to allow you to start entering content straight away and be able to see it displayed.
If you already have a website then you can have your existing web pages copied into the Wired Desk system. Also you would need your default website templates upgraded to your current website look. These steps are not included in the setup fee.
If your website is new, then you would need a web designer to create your website look and layout (we can source a web designer for you). The web designers then would change the default templates to your new look. While that design is going on your staff can create the web pages - as you are now in control of the content of your website. These steps are not included in the setup fee.
